rent24 takes over coworking space DI Telegraph in Moscow

Berlin, August 07, 2018: The worldwide operating coworking and coliving provider rent24 is expanding to Russia and taking over the Moscow coworking and event space DI Telegraph. The former telegraph office is located directly in Tverskaya Ulitsa, Moscow’s longest and historically most important street. The nearly 3,000 square metre space is only a five-minute walk from Red Square. A highlight of the location is the large event hall with a seven-metre-high ceiling, two window fronts and un-treated concrete columns. Depending on the need, it can be used as a coworking area or as a conference room for up to 500 guests.

“Russia has enormous potential for us as a coworking and coliving provider”, says Robert Bukvic, founder and CEO of rent24 GmbH. “Moscow, for example, is home to a very large number of international corporates and the start-up scene is on the rise, especially thanks to its good IT training. On the other hand, Germany is a very interesting sales market for Russia. Our network gives Russian companies access to the market.” Further spaces in Moscow and other Russian cities are already being planned.

Maria Uvarova, Managing Director at Telegraph, adds: “The takeover by rent24 offers us entirely new possibilities. As part of a global group with facilities on three different continents, the large network of locations is a real argument for frequent travellers. rent24 gives the global start-up community new possibilities to grow by connecting and enabling direct communication between them.” In order to better network the worldwide locations, rent24 is developing its own blockchain platform, PRIMARY, through which users can contact each other and exchange services.
