On November 6 our valued neighbor from the education industry Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI), celebrated its official opening at our brand new club and bar The 5th Floor in Berlin-Schöneberg. The school is all about creating real career opportunities for students from around the world. As a proud host, we participated in the event to get first-hand insights into their future plans to revolutionize nothing less than the German education sector.
A perfect celebration of an essential milestone
The event was presented by Alexander Zeitelhack, recently appointed Associate Dean at BSBI. In his opening speech, he outlined the vision of the institution: “Our mission is to educate, train and integrate students from all over the world into the German culture and economic landscape.” In line with this concept, a lot of representatives from education providers and the employment sector have been invited to our venue. The delicious snacks created by white&rose, the beautiful music by a violinist and later a saxophonist and drummer created the perfect atmosphere to celebrate the milestone of BSBI.
Introduction of a scholarship with impact
The invited guests gladly joined the vibrant event as they share the school’s values and appreciate the focus on innovation and practical experiences of the BSBI. Among the special guests were professor Marco De Marco, Dean of Economy Faculty at International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, and Andreas Gall, Chief Innovation Officer at Red Bull Media House.
However, the event would not have been a proper launch without the ribbon cutting ceremony, which was led by the highly appreciated patrons of the BSBI the Royal Highness Prince Paul Philippe Hohenzollern of Romania and Her Royal Highness Princess Lia of Romania, patrons of BSBI.
In close collaboration with the honorary patron Her Serene Highness Princess Madeleine of Bentheim and Steinfurt, they will support the BSBI patron scholarship designed to grant international students the unique opportunity to benefit from higher education and learning experience with impact.
The uniqueness of the BSBI education scheme
The special feature of BSBI is the combination of classroom teaching and learning resources outside the classroom as well as promising career opportunities provided by partners of the BSBI.
Sagi Hartov, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of BSBI, honored the support given to the school by these collaborations: “Working with international educational and commercial partners, we aim to grow our presence in the higher education sector in Germany. This will benefit our students, who will have access to many career opportunities, and support the industry in the country by generating employment.”
A wider portfolio for success in future industries
The BSBI provides its students with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration, tourism, hospitality and events management, marketing, finance, fashion retail, and luxury management. Though, the school is currently expanding its already vast portfolio of innovative courses and collaborations as it is following a progressive concept focussing on future developments in the working world. In fact, many graduates of higher education are entering the job market without any job-relevant skills or expertise. The BSBI keeps up with the fast pace of changes in education in order to enable the talents of today to thrive in tomorrow’s job market.
We are looking forward to future occasions for both, the rent24 community and the BSBI network, to meet up and share our knowledge!
