Coworking provider rent24 launches €20 million venture fund

Berlin, 10 November 2016: The coworking and coliving provider rent24 launches r24 ventures, a 20 million-euro venture fund. Through r24 ventures’ Accelerator Program, startups benefit from coworking space, the network and mentors as well as financing in the amount of 50,000 to 2 million euro.

All early-stage startups that already have a proof of concept and need a strong partner at their side can apply for the Accelerator Program. After a personal meeting and the presentation of the idea or the company, a committee makes a decision about how the acceptance process will proceed. “Through the rent24 coworking space, we met exciting founders and startups, and helped them grow and breakthrough with the Acceleartor Program for professionalization,” explained Robert Bukvic, Co-Founder and CEO of rent24 GmbH. An individual package is put together for each company, which covers their needs. “One of the first tenants at rent24 was Advybox, an advertising startup,” explained Bukavic. “The first venture fund investments – a mid six-figure sum – were put to work in this startup.”

Well-known partners with experience in founding companies, strategic development and initial public offerings have already been secured for the venture fund’s mentor program. “We offer the complete package with the r24 Accelerator program,” commented Bukvic. “I can only encourage everyone to apply – at the very least the experience will be enriching.”
