Summary:

rent24 is looking for an experienced Head of Quality & Audit that will proactively develop, lead and drive the execution of Quality Assurance & Audit strategies and oversight for rent24. This position also has responsibility for establishing and leading the development, management and continual improvement of rent24 Quality Management System (QMS).

Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining the quality system, developing quality assurance policies and objectives, leading external/internal audits, complying with various regulatory requirements within the rent24 environment and its affiliated products / subsidiaries. This is a leadership position involving strategic planning/decision-making and team development. Interactions with other internal business units, and external regulatory authorities and business partners are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key leader at rent24, working collaboratively to ensure Quality Assurance objectives are met and aligned with the company’s operational and regulatory objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance organization, ensuring appropriate levels of accountability for decision making and clearly communicating cross functionally within the organization.

Summary:

rent24 is looking for an experienced Head of HSE who will be responsible for implementing and managing the rent24 safety operations, standards, and procedures across the company portfolio. The ideal candidate will also work closely with the Talent & OD Team in leading compliance and training programs that meet rent24 management, investors, client, and statutory requirements locally and internationally.

Responsibilities:

Training

  • Manage all aspects of EH&S training from reporting, tracking, maintaining, developing, and providing training in coordination with Talent & OD team.
  • Provide Safety Training (train the trainer) to ensure that facility teams (both location specific and portfolio-wide) receive required training, including but not limited to Confined Spaces, Emergency Training, Fire Fighting Training, Basic First Aid, Ergonomics etc…
  • Support behavioral based safety training program

Reporting

  • Establish/ Develop and Oversee the tracking and monitoring of EH&S performance metrics and manage all EH&S reporting.
  • Ensure AIMS entries are done on time, account KPIs are maintained, OSHA logs are accurate, and all incidents and injuries are escalated on time.
  • Analyze and track audits – make regular reports

Site Support

  • Create, develop and implement EH&S policies, practices, and programs at the location/ global level.
  • Provide guidance and advice on EH&S management at all levels.
  • Provide technical advice on all relevant EHS issues to the teams and on changes in legislation that will impact service delivery.
  • Lead EH&S standards to prevent accidents, incidents and events that could harm employees, members and/or property.
  • EH&S related investigations and root cause analysis (RCAs).
  • Provide direct support to rent24 employees/clients on all matters related to industry EH&S compliance, as well as specific client compliance or site-specific operating requirements.
  • Promote and develop a positive Health and Safety culture at all levels throughout the account.

Maintain Compliance

  • Support sites during audits from the client, corporate, EH&S staff, as well as outside agencies such as OSHA, fire/building departments, health inspectors, air quality inspectors, and insurance representatives.
  • Manage contractor safety programs. Ensuring programs are in place.
  • Ensure the organization/ spaces are certified to international standards.

Incident Investigation and Inspections

  • Support and assist sites with root cause investigations and near-miss presentations.
  • Conduct Health and Safety Systems inspections and audit workplace standards and activities.
  • Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent combination of education and relevant field experience
  • Preferred Master’s Degree in relevant field
  • 7 years prior experience in comparable EH&S program required; preferred 9 years prior experience in comparable EH&S program
  • Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of relevant current legislation.
  • Practical working knowledge of Health and Safety tools and techniques, ideally within a Facilities Management environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant standards, legislation, codes of practice, guidance and operating procedures.
  • Presentation skills to deliver specialist advice at all levels and to deliver localized training to staff as required.

rent24is looking for an experienced Cluster Sales Manager to add value to our growth. As our Cluster Sales Manager – your primary focus will be to develop and grow domestic and international accounts predominantly in the Corporate-, Group MICE-, Consortia and extended Stay market segments.

You will initially be responsible for developing New Business by promoting CoLiving. The Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team acts as the engine in the expansion strategy for rent24. We are now looking for a team of Senior M&A Managers to execute the international expansion strategy. You will support the team in charge of deal flow activities and report to our Head of M&A to deliver successful projects, ensuring high quality deliverables, leading-edge insights and adding value to our clients. This role will cover exposure to a broad an international scope.

YOUR JOB:

  • Rapidly understand the challenges and opportunities facing the company and constructively add to the dialogue and debate on the deal/project team
  • Participate in annual strategic planning process to evaluate market trends, company performance, positioning, opportunities, and resource allocation
  • Support development of the overall inorganic growth strategy, including landscape analysis and target identification
  • Work closely with the deal leadership team to support a wide range of strategic initiatives including acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures, and divestitures
  • Responsible for day-to-day project leadership, including management of business valuation, due diligence activities, and internal communication
  • Provide support for deal processes, including deal structuring and contract negotiations
  • Communicate on a regular basis with the deal teams regarding ongoing projects and actively seek advice and guidance from more senior team members where appropriate
  • Interface with external parties such as investment banks, legal firms, consultants, accountants, etc. throughout the origination and transaction process
  • Recruit, develop, manage, train, and inspire team members

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an top-tier university or college in Finance, Accounting or Economic
  • Minimum of [3] years’ experience in Finance, M&A, investment banking, private equity, or strategy management consulting, with experience and demonstrated success performing financial modeling, valuations, deal & process leadership and due diligence
  • MBA from leading business school preferred
  • Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices or procedures to: define the problem or objective, identify relevant concerns or factors, identify patterns, tendencies and relationships, formulate logical and objective conclusions, recognize alternatives and their implications
  • Strong project management skills. Ability to manage in a fast-changing dynamic environment with many different stakeholders
  • Strong fluency in financial analysis techniques and valuation theory
  • Proven problem solving, conceptual thinking, and analytical abilities
  • Strong executive-level communications skills

As a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions team, you will be responsible for performing financial and strategic analyses as part of our strategic growth process. You will play a key role in preparing financial models and analyzing data. You will participate in many components of the due diligence process and interact with senior-level executives and advisors. You will assist with evaluating potential acquisitions, divestitures, alliances and strategic investments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in M&A strategy development and M&A pipeline development
  • Develop and maintain overview of potential M&A targets based on structured analysis and business engagement
  • Analyze acquisition and investment opportunities consistent with M&A strategy
  • Perform industry and financial analysis leading to investment recommendations
  • Project management of several internal processes, from screening, diligence, transaction through to integration
  • Develop operating financial models to evaluate a target’s financial projections and perform comprehensive financial valuations involving discounted cash flow, internal rate of return, accretion dilution and comparable company/transaction analyses
  • Develop and present the business case supporting the acquisition and recommend valuation of potential targets to senior leadership and other internal stakeholders
  • Manage a broad cross functional due diligence team
  • Participate in legal negotiations regarding transaction-related contracts with in-house and external counsel
  • Plan and participate in post-closing integration efforts between rent24 and the acquired businesses
  • Support the process to define and deliver the M&A strategy and priorities for individual market segments across the wider group
  • Provide analytical data for transaction processes, particularly related to financial due diligence
  • Monitor industry M&A development and assess implications for rent24

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field required
  • Minimum three years mergers and acquisitions or related experience required, which may include investment banking, corporate development, venture capital, private equity, or management consulting
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and especially MS Excel, specifically relating to financial modeling required
  • Structured and analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work both independently and in close cooperation with others
  • Solid communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally
  • Ambitious, driven and enthusiastic about ongoing development
  • Demonstrated knowledge of analyzing a set of financial statements in a diligence context
  • Proven experience synthetizing and communicating findings / providing concise conclusions

These will be your tasks:

  • Plan and support integration execution across all business functions

  • Ensure 100% clarity on interfaces from new sites and headquarters and modus operandi of regular communication
  • Use efficient project management tools and ensure efficient access to data
  • Review relevant Investment Opportunities and support of investment committee in alignment with Expansion team/ real estate experts
  • Support Business Development activities
  • Support industrialization of all steps for maximum efficiency across all deals around the globe
  • Ensure sustainable and efficient handover from post-merger integration to ongoing operations
