We are searching for:

Summary:

rent24 is looking for a Web Designer/ Developer, he/she will be responsible for the design, layout and coding of our company and subsidiary websites. He/she will be involved in the technical and graphical aspects of the websites – how the site works and how it looks. They can also be involved with the maintenance and update of an existing site and upcoming websites for the parent and portfolio companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of WordPress-based websites (35% design / 65% coding)
  • Creation of new user-friendly templates and subpages
  • Optical and technical adaptation / further development of specially developed themes
  • Graphical implementation of website elements
  • Maintenance of existing and development of new websites for rent24 and its portfolio group of companies.
  • Write the programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements
  • Test the website and identify any technical problems
  • Upload the site onto a server and register it with different search engines.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of web / frontend development
  • Very good WordPress knowledge
  • Very good knowledge in HTML, CSS, HTML mail creation
  • JavaScript and PHP knowledge beneficial
  • Good knowledge of image editing (Photoshop)

Responsibilities:

  • Support and networking of the community at the site, with prioritized involvement of the Community Manager
  • Handle on-site facility maintenance issues via external service partners.
  • Taking care of issues, and technical problems at the location with tenants.
  • Issuing and controlling purchase orders and communicating to HQ.
  • Point of contact for potential and current tenants, and landlord.
  • Preparing monthly reports, budgets, managing staff, managing discounts (with consultation from with Sales Manager), optimizing location occupancy, drive profitability and meet revenue targets.
  • Managing, guiding and coaching of personnel on site.

 

Job Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field preferred but not necessary
  • 4+ years’ experience in the coworking / coliving industry
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

The Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team acts as the engine in the expansion strategy for rent24. We are now looking for a team of Senior M&A Managers to execute the international expansion strategy. You will support the team in charge of deal flow activities and report to our Head of M&A to deliver successful projects, ensuring high quality deliverables, leading-edge insights and adding value to our clients. This role will cover exposure to a broad an international scope.

YOUR JOB:

  • Rapidly understand the challenges and opportunities facing the company and constructively add to the dialogue and debate on the deal/project team
  • Participate in annual strategic planning process to evaluate market trends, company performance, positioning, opportunities, and resource allocation
  • Support development of the overall inorganic growth strategy, including landscape analysis and target identification
  • Work closely with the deal leadership team to support a wide range of strategic initiatives including acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures, and divestitures

Summary:

rent24 is looking for an innately-curious, data-driven, self-starting Finance Manager. The Finance team is the analytical engine of the company – we surface insights that drive strategy and optimal decision making for leaders across the organization. In this role, you will partner with department leads to understand the ‘who, what, and whys’ of their groups – working cross-functionally to dig into trends, surface value-creating opportunities and help figure out how to implement them.   • Expertise and familiarity with preparing and analyzing financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Understanding of accounting policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Basic understanding of government contract accounting specific concepts (such as revenue recognition, indirect rates, etc.) preferred.

Summary:

rent24 is looking for an Accountant to join our team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a head for numbers, experience with QuickBooks, MS Excel, and strong analytical skills. The Accountant will report directly to the Finance Manager, and will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to US-GAAP and IFRS
  • Preparation of the documents for the annual audit, consolidation of the individual financial statements and preparation of the consolidated balance sheet
  • Independent support and responsibility of the current financial accounting incl. Accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as travel expenses
  • Maintaining the general ledger with ongoing account reconciliation / content account clearing
  • Deviation analysis and intercompany reconciliation
  • Contact for tax consultants, auditors and tax authorities

YOUR JOB:

  • Support development, rollout and operation of rent24 and adjacent infrastructure
  • Work closely with our business units, our digital development team and our internal IT to provide integration support
  • Plan, lead and supervise implementation projects (including task and resource planning, project reporting and controlling as well as escalation management)
  • Design, develop and implement integration services (e.g. data extraction, transformation and provisioning services) within our middleware technology
  • Ensure rapid development, testing and roll out

YOUR QUALIFICATION:

  • University Degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, Business Administration or a similar qualification
  • Laravel / PHP (2 years experience)
  • Salesforce developer and administrator (2 years experience)
  • Html, Css, Javascript, WordPress advanced knowledge
  • Experience in an international project environment
  • Experience in managing technical complex environments
  • Strong knowledge of interface, middleware and cloud technologies and solutions
